Why Unlimited Access to Your Direct Care Physician Changes Everything

I remember the feeling of rushing from room to room in the traditional medical system. I would look at a chart, spend five minutes with a patient, and then have to move on before we even got to the heart of why they were there. It didn't feel like healing; it felt like a transaction.

That is exactly why I started True Insight Direct Care. When you choose a direct care physician, you aren’t just joining a practice—you are reclaiming your time and your peace of mind. In my world, healthcare isn't a 9-to-5 hurdle; it’s a continuous, supportive conversation.

You Speak Directly to Me

In a typical office, you navigate a labyrinth of front-desk staff, medical assistants, and nurses just to leave a message that might be returned in two days. When you work with a direct care physician like myself, that wall disappears.

When you call during office hours, I’ll answer if I’m not with a patient. After hours, you’ll get me on the other end. When you send a message through the portal, you aren’t talking to a triage nurse; you are talking to me. Whether it’s a quick question about a new prescription or a concern that’s keeping you up at night, you have a direct line to your doctor.

No More Waiting for the Care You Need

We’ve all been there: you’re sick on a Tuesday, but the earliest appointment is three weeks away. Not long ago I was sick the day of my physical and my rescheduled appointment wasn’t for 9 months! (I might as well wait until next year!) As your direct care physician, I’ve intentionally limited the number of patients I see, so that I am available when you need me. This means:

  • Same or Next-Day Visits: When you have an urgent need, we prioritize getting you seen as quickly as possible.

  • Unrushed Appointments: Our visits last 30 to 60 minutes. We have time to discuss your nutrition, your stress levels, and how your body is functioning as a whole.

  • After-Hours Peace of Mind: Health concerns don't follow a schedule. I am available on evenings, weekends, and holidays because I believe a direct care physician should be there when uncertainty strikes.

A Relationship, Not a Number

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine (D.O.), I view the body as an interconnected whole—mind, body, and spirit. To treat you entirely, I have to actually know you.

By removing the insurance companies from our relationship, I no longer work for them; I work for you. This allows me to be more than just a doctor; I become a trusted partner in your wellness. You’ll never be passed off to a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant. Every time you walk through the door or hop on a video call, you are seeing your dedicated direct care physician.

Reclaiming the Doctor-Patient Bond

Health is deeply personal, and it deserves a personal touch. Choosing a direct care physician is about more than just convenience; it’s about restoring a bond that has been lost in the modern medical shuffle. It’s about knowing that when you have a question, you have a partner who is ready to listen and act. It’s about having the time to discuss a procedure step by step to put a patient’s nerves at ease.

If you’re ready to experience what it’s like to have a doctor who truly knows you and is always within reach, I’d love to meet you. Contact us or schedule a free meet & greet so we can chat about your health and how I can best walk alongside you on your journey to wellness.
